Immunity Force

Immunity Force is the third instalment of a series of turn-based, tactical role-playing games I (Adok aka Aura4) developed.

The special thing about this game is that it is not set in a fantasy environment like most Shining fangames but in the human body. You control white blood cells which have to fight against viruses.

The game itself is very much like the original Shining Force. In turn-based battles, you fight the enemies. One peculiarity of Immunity Force is that you lose if any of your three characters is defeated. All of them have "hero" status, so to speak. This makes the game a bit more challenging than the usual Shining fangame.

Evoke Hauptmeister is the game that made first place in the game dev competition at Evoke 2024. It is a variant of Paperboy. You play a boy riding a bicycle. Instead of throwing newspapers, you have to take photos of cars parked in the wrong place. The game features three levels of difficulty, but already the lowest level is quite hard. In fact I learned more about this game by watching the gameplay video at YouTube . Both the graphics and the music (composed by well-known demoscene musician Skyrunner) are very good considering that the entire game is in the style of the 16-bit era. Ghostbusters and the Secret of Monkey Island

On the occasion of the 30-year anniversary of The Secret of Monkey Island, Daniele Spadoni released this fangame. You play either Guybrush or one of the Ghostbusters. The actual game is quite similar to the original game, except that the controls are different, and also features many graphics known from it or the sequel. The game was made with Adventure Game Studio, which is an easy way to create an adventure game. Personally, I'm amazed at how well the images of the Ghostbusters have been integrated in the game.
